The town of Lake Worth is just south of West Palm Beach and is adjacent to the waterways of Palm Beach and runs west to the turnpike. There are many communities to choose from. They range from small condos along the waterway to upscale gated communites in Western Lake Worth.

Downtown Lake Worth has a quaint small town feel and has many eclectic shops and restaurants. The eatery Havana Hideout was featured in Guy Fieri's Diner, Drive-In and Dives. It has a converted truck that is used as their order window. They are known for their Ceviche, Sangria and Cuban inspired food. Many art festivals are brought to Lake Worth each year and also small workshop theaters run performances during the winter season. It has it's own unique vibe that makes it a special place to live.

Financing Your Home >Balloon Mortgages

In loan terminology a "balloon" is the unpaid loan balance that must be paid in full on a specified due date. Federal savings and loan associations are permitted to make balloon mortgages with as little as five percent down and monthly payments that are smaller than the amount needed to fully amortize the debt. On the due date, which may be only a few years after the loan was made, the balance must be paid off or the loan must be renegotiated. Balloon borrowers must be cautious and plan carefully to avoid overlooking balloon payment obligations. It is easy to be lulled into complacency by the easy monthly payment terms.
